ABOUT FRIYAY

Happy FriYay started with Bethany.

She has this habit of saying “FriYay” instead of Friday, and somewhere along the way, I started making her ridiculous little cat memes to celebrate it. Two cats became us. The sunglasses got bigger. The situations got more elaborate. And somehow a silly Friday-morning text turned into one of our favorite little traditions.

Every FriYay tells a piece of our story.

Sometimes it’s about what we’re doing that night. Sometimes it’s a date we just had, a weekend we’re looking forward to, our kids, our friends, a day on the lake, plants we definitely don’t need more of, or simply being grateful for this life we’re building together.

The memes are funny, but they aren’t really about Friday at all.

They’re little snapshots of us: where we were, what we were excited about, what made us laugh, and all the ordinary moments that somehow feel pretty extraordinary when you’re spending them with your person.

So this is where we’re keeping them.
